Microsoft
Microsoft Consulting Services, in partnership with the Digital Archives, designed
the customized solution for ingesting and archiving electronic records coming into
the Digital Archives for long-term storage and retrieval. The solution uses Microsoft
SQL Server and Windows Workflow Foundation as the core technology to connect hundreds
of state and local government offices with the Digital Archives so legal and historical
records can be automatically and electronically transmitted and archived with no
human involvement of any kind.
